My birthday isn’t for a couple of weeks, but I got a present the other day.
It’s a transceiver. I know, what a cool gift, right?

Yes, I studied and got my Amateur Radio call sign years ago, but I never got around to getting myself a radio.
Now I have one. Hee hee.
I tuned in to the local amateur radio net last night and listened to the ham radio news and the questions and comments of people who were all connecting via radio waves.
It totally makes me smile.
Because I am such a geek.
